Our Mission:
The Capital District Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (CDBCC) is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining Minority communities, particularly those of Black or African American decent, through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity within the State of New York and via interaction with the National Black Chamber of Commerce Inc. (NBCC) and other pertinent national and state-wide revenue generating resources.
Our Purpose:
The purpose of the Capital District Black Chamber of Commerce shall be to expand the concepts of business development and capitalism through educational platforms and increase access to resources, management and operation skills, technical support, procurement opportunities, effective networking, and sharing of information for Black owned businesses and other minority owned businesses. Our activities will be driven by our Strategic Plan*. The Chamber will be a nonprofit, nonpartisan and nonsectarian, abiding by the rules set forth via IRS 501(c)3 classification.
Our Objectives:
We will improve the financial landscape in minority communities through economic empowerment and the development, advocacy and support of current and future local businesses. We will seek government support, provide training, and build relationships with appropriate partners in support of this Mission.
Who May Join The Chamber ?
Any person, corporation, association, partnership, organization or entity who is interested in the purpose of the Capital District Black Chamber of Commerce and who is willing to contribute to the achievement of those purposes and to the effective operation of the Chamber, shall be eligible for membership.
